What the site itself does
Hosting and server logs
The site is delivered through a hosting and content-delivery provider. Like most websites, that provider and the site's server software may process technical request data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages requested and timestamps in order to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the site.
Analytics
The site may use hosting-level or aggregate analytics to understand traffic and page performance. The site's own pages do not currently load third-party analytics scripts.
Messages you send us
If you use the contact form, your name, email address, subject and message are sent to the site's publisher through a third-party service so we can read and reply. We may keep them to respond and to track corrections. Please do not send sensitive personal, medical, financial or legal information.
Advertising
Some pages contain ad placements. When a page loads, your browser asks this site's server for ad content for that placement, and the server may in turn request that content from an advertising service. That request identifies the site and the placement; it does not pass your name, and the site's own code does not add your IP address or browser details to it.
Ad content, when it is shown, may include text, images or links supplied by advertisers. Clicking an ad takes you to the advertiser's own website, which has its own privacy practices that this site does not control.
